I am a qualified teacher with extensive experience at both Junior Certificate and Leaving Certificate level. I have taught history at Leaving Certificate Level both Honours and Ordinary level with excellent results. I have an MA in History, Higher Diploma in Education and a Post graduate Diploma in Peace Studies from the Irish School of Ecumenics, Trinity College Dublin.

Concurrently I have taught Geography for over fifteen years at Secondary School level plus I have given extensive grinds at both Junior Certificate and Leaving Certificate Level. I am experienced in preparing Geography Reports with students. I apply all expertise for the benefit of each student.

I am experienced in giving Spanish grinds at Junior and Leaving Certificate Level. I am fluent in Spanish having spent a year of my undergraduate studies at University of Salamanca, Spain where I passed all my exams through Spanish. I am particularly able to help those students who may have studied Spanish for a number of years but who have been unable to progress in large groups. I have excellent aids and methods to provide a means for these students who have lost their confidence and can guarantee that within a few sessions he/she will see a way to achieving higher than they thought possible. Regarding the large volume of material at Leaving Certificate that which many students find difficult I have methods and notes to explains succinctly and clearly what is needed to learn and also included in the service is guidance on essay writing.
